The Greene County supervisors will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 11 am to consider a written request from James Hedges for a recount of Supervisor District 3 ballots from the June 7 primary election.
The board must submit a written order in form of a motion or resolution to order the recount.
In the first count, Dan Benitz received 311 votes, Hedges received 305 votes, and Cassie George received 104 votes.
An administrative recount requested by auditor Jane Heun due to a discrepancy between the number of voter affidavits and the number of ballots counted changed the number of votes Benitz received to 310 and the number of votes Hedges received to 304.
